Abby Wadsworth, MS, RD, CD, CYT-200

    Co-owner, Registered Dietitian

I found my love of food at an early age through cooking and experiencing world cuisine as my family traveled throughout Europe and the US. Over my career, I’ve embraced a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach to nutrition that incorporates the principles of intuitive eating and fosters a positive relationship with food. I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor (CIEC) through Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch, and a Certified Yoga Teacher through Laughing River Yoga. You can often find me biking the back roads of Vermont, traversing mountains either by foot or ski, or lounging in the garden with our dogs and chickens. I currently live in Winooski with my husband Mark and our two dogs Agnes and River.

    Co-owner, Registered Dietitian

I am an avid traveler who developed a deep passion for food along the way. After noticing that people seemed healthiest in places where food was whole and fresh, I became fascinated with nutrition and knew I had discovered my calling. And while I never stopped traveling, I went on to complete my B.S. in nutrition and dietetics at Russell Sage College in Troy, New York, and my M.S. and dietetic internship at Lehman College in New York City. After years of living and working in New York, I fell in love with Vermont while attending a conference and decided to relocate. I have since earned board-certification in integrative and functional nutrition, which focuses on the individual as a whole and treating the root cause of illness with a systems-based approach.

    Registered Dietitian

I grew up in Massachusetts then took a roundabout way to settle in Vermont. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the coordinated program at the University of Connecticut, then received my Master’s degree in Nutrition from Boston University. I moved to Grand Cayman for a taste of the island life then relocated to Denver, Colorado for the complete opposite – snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains. I currently live in Stowe, Vermont with my husband and two kids.

    Registered Dietitian

As an avid outdoor enthusiast and advocate for fueling our bodies to perform and feel their best, I enjoy working with clients to meet their nutrition goals, improve their relationship with food, and tackle their next outdoor adventure with snacks in hand. My bachelor’s degree is in exercise science, and after spending time in Colorado and Boston, I returned to my home state of Vermont to complete my Masters of Dietetics at UVM. I now live across the river in Lyme, NH, where you will find me cycling, nordic skiing, running, and swimming in my free time.

    Registered Dietitian

I’m a native Vermonter and received my bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Vermont and Master’s degree in Exercise & Sport Science from Merrimack College. I am a Board Certified Sports Dietitian and spent 4 years living in Boston and working with division one athletes to help improve performance and health outcomes. I am also a USA Weightlifting Advanced Performance Coach and have taken multiple athletes to the national-level competitions. I love combining my passions for nutrition and exercise to educate athletes of all levels to fuel their bodies while improving their relationship with food. My approach is rooted in performance, health, and sustainability—not dieting. I work with clients to develop practical, individualized nutrition strategies that support long-term success both in sport and in everyday life. In my free time I like to weight lift, try out new recipes & visit new creemee spots around Vermont.

I have always loved the creativity of cooking and wanted to bring that interest into a career involving health and community work. After growing up in Cincinnati, OH I took that passion to Vermont where I earned my degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Vermont in 2014. I went on to complete an M.S. in Nutrition at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR, where I also developed a strong foundation in holistic and integrative care- learning how food can work as medicine. I currently reside in Denver, Colorado where I focus on one-on-one nutrition counseling, specializing in intuitive eating and eating disorder recovery. I am looking forward to moving back to Vermont in 2027 with my husband, a Vermont native, to build my practice and reconnect with the outdoor lifestyle and vibrant local food community that first inspired my path.

    Michelle Tomasi, Certified Health Coach

    Office Manager

After working for a telecommunications company for many years, I decided it was time for a change.  This life change was my opportunity to explore my passion for health and wellness by helping others.  I became a Certified Health Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute.  After completing my certification, I started working in corporate wellness, meeting with employees one on one in helping them achieve small attainable goals, sustainable for lasting change.

Staying active and eating healthy is a must in our home.   I enjoy weekly fitness classes, along with, hiking and running.  I also enjoy cooking delicious nutrient dense meals for my family.  I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge with friends and family, so they have the tools to make healthy choices as well.  I'm very grateful to say I have found my passion and career!

    Lauri Whidden, CNC, CMT, RT

    Billing Manager

I grew up in Vermont but I lived the first five years of my life in Newfoundland. I graduated from college with a major in respiratory therapy and worked several years as an ICU therapist. After several years of being a respiratory therapist I decided to explore a more holistic approach to wellness. I went back to school and became a certified massage therapist and wellness coach. I am passionate about nutrition and the benefits of eating well.

Nutrition is a very large part of my life. I have had type 1 diabetes since I was a young child (over 40 years) and over the years have learned how important nutrition and lifestyle are in the management of my diabetes.

I have raised three wonderful children and enjoy spending time with my family. I am a proud Mimi of 5, soon to be 7 grandchildren. I love animals, sewing, reading and gardening.

I like to think of myself as an optimist and appreciate the gift of every day!
